DRIVING SMART DESTINATION MANAGEMENT

A platform to better understand the destination, make better-informed decisions and anticipate future challenges

PID València is the city’s Smart Destination Platform. It is a digital infrastructure connected to SEGITTUR’s Smart Destinations Platform and aligned with the Smart Tourist Destinations Network (Red DTI), designed to share knowledge, foster innovation and facilitate the adoption of digital solutions.

The platform provides access to data, tools and services to enhance destination management, promote collaboration between the various stakeholders and support more efficient and sustainable decision-making. Its aim is to contribute to higher-quality tourism, create new opportunities for the business community and continue improving the experience of both those who visit València and those who live in the city.

Supports more sustainable destination management

Integration with the city's smart city platform (VLCi Platform), visitor flow analysis, the monitoring of public space occupancy, tourism intelligence indicators such as visitor.spending, analysis of tourist preferences through the recommendation engine, and the incorporation of environmental indicators such as the calculation of the carbon footprint calculator, provide a better understanding of the impact of tourism activity and help anticipate future needs.

Facilitates data-driven decision-making

PID València brings together analysis, monitoring and management tools within a single infrastructure, providing a more comprehensive overview of tourism activity and supporting more accurate and informed planning.

Strengthens València's connections to a national tourism innovation ecosystem

Integration with the SEGITTUR Smart Destinations Platform and the DTI Network promotes interoperability, knowledge sharing and the development of new solutions in collaboration with other destinations.
