SMART DESTINATION PLATFORM

PID València

Building La Harinera. c/ Juan Verdeguer, 30

15 June 2026. 09:00 – 12:30

On 15 June, Valencia City Council officially launched the Valencia Smart Destination Platform (PID Valencia), an initiative promoting a new model for a smarter, more sustainable and better-connected tourist destination.

Based on the use of advanced technologies, data and innovation, the Platform will help anticipate future challenges, improve destination management and create new opportunities for businesses and professionals in the sector.

PID València was established to enhance the experience of those visiting the city, strengthen the competitiveness of Valencia’s business and tourism sectors, and promote balanced development for Valencia and its residents.

The event brought together companies, start-ups, sector organisations, public institutions and stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem, who were able to gain first-hand insight into the key aspects of the project and the opportunities it opens up for the future of Valencia.
